By: Presley McGlashing, Licensed Esthetician and Make-Up Artist

Good nutrition has always been relevant to how our skin looks, feels and reacts. Certain vitamins and nutrients found in our food play a huge role in our well being, but also our skin. These smoothies have amazing skin benefits for all skin types. Each smoothie has Greek Yogurt for a smooth texture and added protein, a building block of elastin in the skin.

Smoothie #1: Green Smoothie

The kiwi is the "active ingredient" in this smoothie because it has incredible skin benefits! Kiwis are rich in vitamin C which is responsible for collagen production, also they are full of antioxidants which help the cells fight off free radicals from pollution and stress, and best of all they help repair the body's damaged cells (including skin cells) and preventing new damage from occurring.

Why Diets Fail and Life Changes Succeed

By: Kimberly Myl

We have all heard of dieting. There have been all types of diets out there in the past decade alone. Each one promising you that great beach body, the new healthy you! Whichever fad diet you chose to try, you will almost undoubtedly lose some weight. Common to all diets, if you combine with regular exercise regimen, will find better results.

Two problems with diets are they are not developed as a long term regiment. Most people, who use a specific diet will relapse, give up, quit and regain the weight and in some cases gain even more. The thought of having to drag yourself out of bed before work or college early in the morning when it's still dark is far from appealing - much easier just to stay in bed, right? Then it gets to the end of the day, you've finished work and surprise surprise, it's dark out once again, the most attractive option is to head home and snuggle.

So instead of letting the winter months put me off of working out completely and instead of leaving my quest for my ideal bikini body up until the death when summer is just around the corner, I've been working out at home, after all summer bodies are made in the winter. I've been trying to work on my abs, desperately seeking a more defined stomach, here you will find some of my favourite home workout exercises. For me, music plays a key role in my workouts, without it I struggle to find the motivation. So, before you start make sure you've got an upbeat playlist!

Why You Need Probiotics & How to Get Them

By: Yanina Motovylets

I didn’t know probiotics and probiotic supplements existed until 4 years ago, when I first moved out of my parent’s home for University, and managed to get a sinus infection that had me bedridden for 2 weeks and on 3 different rounds of antibiotics. Halfway through my second round of antibiotics I developed both digestion issues and horrible stomach pains. It is then that I learned antibiotics should be supplemented with probiotics. The probiotic supplement should be taken 3 hours before or after antibiotics, and voila- no more stomach issues. So what exactly is this magical probiotic supplement and what does it do? Why should we take it daily, regardless of whether or not we are taking antibiotics? Let me explain.

According to WebMD, probiotics are live bacteria and yeast that are good for your health, especially your digestive system.
