Always had been a naturally thin person with fast metabolism, genetics & actually had problems keeping weight on. However, several years ago a medical issue arose that could only be relieved through hormonal therapy which worked but caused severe weight gain. I went from thin to “morbidly obese”. The weight gain was out of control with nothing I could do to lose it or even stop gaining. The extra weight I was carrying on a small framed body was taking a major toll on my health & overall feelings regarding my self-esteem about my appearance. The gained weight was becoming possibly deadly. Therefore, I stopped with the hormones about a year ago. Since then, not only has my medical issue seemed to have been resolved, the weight gained has been shedding off at a rapid yet steady pace. I’m very close to a normal, healthy weight again.
